I board Amtrak trains before dawn’s early light. Two-thirds of the passengers are sound asleep as I make my way to the back row of the last train. I pull out my Canon camera equipment and shoot. The first sets are done pitch black. Then nature begins a wondrous turning. Light appears as the train makes it way from Boston, MA to Stamford, CT. I enjoy capturing the motion and mood that comes from a moving train. When the sun rises, I pack my camera equipment neatly back in their bags, summon the train porter and inform him/her I am now going to sleep. Please wake me when the train pulls into Stanford, CT station.
