I find it interesting shooting black and white photography. More appropriately, I term it “shades of white and black.” Certain nuances of a subject are illuminated when using white and black rather than color. I find a subject’s personalty and reflective character reveal themselves to me using this medium. I like the emotional impact of white and black photography. More import are shades of gray. These are areas in my work that are communicative and create moods of intensity and intrigue. Brendan Ben Feeney
